Why this layout

Designed around a specific tradeoff.

Best for solo owners or couples who want the smallest practical full-time footprint.

Tiny-house planning is mostly deciding what deserves permanent square footage. This concept protects a few priorities instead of pretending every amenity can fit without consequence.

  1. The loft absorbs sleeping so the first floor can still contain a real living zone.
  2. Bath and kitchen stay together at the service end to limit long utility runs.
  3. This plan is intentionally unforgiving of excess furniture and storage; that is the point of the 20-foot footprint.

What happens next

Use the concept to ask better questions.

Before committing to a trailer, foundation, shell or builder, verify the project-specific structure, egress, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, energy, fire-safety, zoning and permitting requirements. For a THOW, finished weight and axle/GVWR capacity need their own engineering and manufacturer checks.

These are space-planning concepts created to compare footprints, adjacencies and priorities. They are not stamped structural drawings, engineering documents, trailer specifications or a substitute for local code review.
